Andrew, Matt, Jono and me made a new band. The band is called Dog Chocolate. Here are our first few songs:
This was the last Tea & Toast Band release before I decided to stop doing the band. It’s called Swarf and it was recorded, mixed and mastered at home in south London by James Bull, my housemate at the time. It took us ages. Band= me, James, Molly Palmer, Alice Theobald, Andrew Kerr
Sabor Legume was a duo I was in with Molly Palmer. Molly made the artwork too. We were trying to make quiet music that needed no amplification but when we played live, all the stuff needed so many mics! This CD was recorded in one day at Utrophia by super wizz kid Matt Rigsby Smith. He mixed it too.
1st release by Gasp! Cracking Eggs, on Tooz label. The band is me and my friend Sam. We recorded these ones at home on cassette and computers in London and Brighton. We are currently working on a new CD but it’s a lot more songy and pop I think. Mastered by my pal James Bull.
3rd release by Tea & Toast Band - Moonbeaming. This one was the result of playing live a lot more. The band had quite a fluid membership, depending on who could turn up to the gig. This meant the sound was semi-improvised and shambolic with lots of backing tapes which I liked at the time. Recorded and mixed by Greg Webster at Sunlight Studios, Gillingham. Band = me, Lucy Farrell, Jacob Farrell, Sophie Simpson with cameos by Greg and Sandy.
This was the second Tea & Toast Band release. The booklet had a lot more of those lino cuts in it but I’m not so keen on them anymore. This one again was recorded on 4-track at home in maidstone and a bit in london. Features my sister Sophie on a couple of songs and Jacob on accordian. I think Greg Webster mixed the levels for this one and Foxholes too. You can download this one foxholes free if you want to.
This was the first release by Tea & Toast (later “Band”). This is all stuff I was doing on my 4-track at home, some of it dates back about 15 years!
This is an old band I played guitar and samples in called Shink. It was sort of “expansive” music or something. We made a few home-made CDs, always recorded by Greg (the guitarist) in Sam’s (the drummer’s) garage. This is a bunch of jams we did, nothing rehearsed.

I shared a flat with Matt, James and Barry. The flat became known as “House Of Dads”. We wanted to make a song every day we were living there, so we tried, but we failed. The songs we did make were a mixture of compelling, awful and ridiculous - mostly within the same song. Heres the unfinished masterpiece:
